It can play a role in reducing cholesterol levels, since our daily stress state may start increasing the cholesterol level even at childhood stage.

Flavonoids are primarily found in fruit peels- in some cases in the tissues of red meats; as well as in stems, pedicle and seeds. Flavonoids are water soluble vegetable dyes. They can be found in a wide variety of foods.
For example in types of citruses, soya products, in wine and blue berries, in apples and in tea. Dr. Albert Szent György who is the discoverer of Vitamin C, a Nobel prize awarded scientist proved, that flavonoids increase the Vitamin C consumption in the liver, kidney and adrenal.

The flavonoids efficiently offer help in building a defense system in the human organism to fight free radicals by using antioxidants, vitamins and enzymes.

The byproducts of cell metabolism creates free radicals in our organism which damage the cell membrane, and destroys DNS, which is usually the leading cause of physical decline associated with aging.

The most significant source of flavonoids are found in berries, also in leafy vegetables and types of onions.

Based on today’s knowledge, the consumption of flavonoids contained in plants have health protecting and disease preventing effects. Their consumption in foods doesn’t mean a risk, but rather helps the organism sustain its balance, between the damaging effects and internal protection system that is present in healthy organisms. The flavonoid containing product, can prevent the unwanted heart and circulatory problems and development of neoplasm lesions from developing.

  • Folic acid is essential in blood formation, cell formation, cell genetic material formation, and for the nervous system to function.
  • Vitamin E protects the cells and tissues from damaging free radicals, which destroy cell walls’ structure, or cells’ components, and is responsible for the aging process related to oxidation.
  • Vitamin C, is a quite efficient antioxidant, which contributes to the immune system’s adequate functioning, assists in iron absorption, participates in sustaining the health of the circulatory system.
  • Biotin or also referred to as Vitamin H is indispensable in basic nutrient (carbohydrate, protein, fats) metabolism and in protecting the hair structure.

  • Calcium: participates in bone formation.
  • Magnesium: helps the muscles to function suitably.
  • Sodium: together with chlorine and potassium controls our organism’s liquid household.
It plays a role in the muscles’ „excitability” in muscle functions,
Plays an important role in controlling blood pressure.
  • Potassium: Plays a role in controlling our organism’s liquid household, sustaining the acidic and alkaline balance.
  • Zinc: plays a role in the nervous system and in healing infertility.
  • Manganese: is required for adequate bone structure, normal muscle reflexes to develop, and for the central nervous system to function properly.
  • Iron: is present in red blood cells, and in enzyme formation.
  • Copper: helps the iron build into the hemoglobin.
  • Iodine: influences the thyroid functions
  • Selenium: delays the tissues from aging.

The fruit peels are rich in essential oil glands, and the extracted limonene enriched essential oil primarily has digestion improving and calming effects. The nutritional value of citrus fruits are found in its fiber, vitamins (primarily Vitamin C), vegetable acids, mineral maters and bioflavonoids. Its regular consumption is primarily essential for the organism, its antioxidant, anticarcinogenic and stress protection effects are because, the Vitamin C is replenished.

Blueberries

The blueberry is a fruit, which is remarkably highly honored by folk medicine. It has outstandingly high content of potassium, further more it contains calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc, sulfur, phosphorus, and Vitamin C.

Aloe Vera

Since ancient times the Aloe Vera is considered to be a significant healing plant. There are over 350 types of compounds found in our organism, and so far over 240 beneficial active agents were identified. It has special characteristics, because when the founding elements were compared to each other’s ratios it perfectly adjusts to our organisms needs.

It contains all the Vitamins excluding Vitamin D, 20 types of minerals, 18 types of amino acids, several edible fibers, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal materials, fito-hormones and enzymes.

Vitamin B5, B6, and B12 are required for the organism’s oxidative metabolism, and is indispensable for the nervous system to function adequately.

Vitamin B5/pantothenic acid

The pantothenic acid, also reffered to as Vitamin B5 is an antioxidant compound found in the Vitamin B complex. Mentionable deficiency symptoms for example: is increased hair loss. It has an important role in sustaining the epithelium’s resistance capabilities and accelerates the wound healing procesess.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is perhaps the most reknown type of vitamins, and its consumption and replenishment is most regularly taken care of. If lacking, numerous illnesses or rather symptoms (pyorrhea, bleeding gums, respiratory infections, articular- myopathies, osteoporosis, skin problems, delayed wound healing, etc.) can occur. It is an antioxidant vitamin, and plays a role in regenerating oxidized Vitamin E. Partially due to its antioxidant effects,  it can be brought into relation with some studies according to which it plays a role in delaying the organism’s aging process.

Biotin

The biotin (Vitamin H, coenzyme R) is a water-soluble, sulfur containing vitamin that is a member of the Vitamin B complex family. Its chemical structure was documented in the 1940’.  Biotin is freely found within the consumed foods, or occurs bound to protein. The top part of the small bowel is only able to absorb its free form. It gets removed from the body passing through the kidney in urine form, yet at the same time even more quantities are removed with stool; which can be explained, because the intestinal bacteria also synthesizes, however in this form it isn’t utilized. Absorption loss can be approx. 50%.

Why do we need it? It is indispensable in normal carbohydrate-, fat and protein metabolism, to maintain healthy skin, and also plays a role in baldness and slows down gray hair development, it could relieve muscle pain, and reduce skin problems. If missing, it could cause lack of appetite, skin inflammation, hair loss, fat metabolism disorders, and muscle pain problems could occur. Symptoms of overdosing are unknown.
